After a lengthy study of results obtained from various experiments held in France and other European countries to find out the successful snails farming technology, we chose the most popular French method of raising snails of the type Helix Aspersa Maxima in the open.
At the time of setting the farm, we treated the soil extensively by using natural methods that enabled us to change the composition of clusters into alkaloidal to avoid any acid reaction and possible destruction of the laid eggs.
The ecological clean environment is a necessary prerequisite for high quality product
Cares are extended every day to ensure the ideal environment for our snails, and more particularly high degree of humidity, maintaining optimal temperature and sufficient quantities of high quality food. The method is appropriate for our geographical location and climatic conditions and brings positive consequence from our activity.
We take everyday care for our snails
The trends for our farm for year 2010 is to create a reproduction room for us to be able to offer caviar, as well as young snails for prospective farmers; we also thrive to start the farming of another popular species – Helix Aspersa Muller (Petit-Gris).
